Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the success of counter-terrorism operations conducted by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari expressed that the courage and professionalism of Pakistan’s soldiers are vital in protecting the nation from terrorism. He highlighted that these operations are a testament to Pakistan’s strong resolve to combat and overcome terrorism allegedly sponsored by India.

The President further stressed that Pakistan remains committed to its mission until every terrorist and their supporters are brought to justice.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also issued a statement, asserting that the fight against terrorism will persist until the threat is entirely eliminated from the country. He acknowledged the relentless efforts of the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Army who work tirelessly to thwart the malicious intentions of the Khawarij and the Fitna of Hindustan.

He affirmed the nation’s unwavering support for the Armed Forces, emphasizing the collective determination in defending the homeland.
