President, PM Praise Security Forces for Counterterrorism Success in Balochistan

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their appreciation for the security forces following their successful operations against terrorists in Balochistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, in their separate statements, both leaders commended the professional capabilities of the security forces in neutralizing Indian-sponsored terrorists in regions including Mastung, Quetta, Kalat, and Sibi. Their acknowledgment highlights the ongoing challenges faced by Pakistan and the effective response by the security forces.

President Zardari emphasized that the elimination of more than 1,188 terrorists in Balochistan this year underscores both the threats confronting Pakistan and the adeptness of its security personnel. This achievement is seen as a significant milestone in the country's fight against terrorism.

Prime Minister Sharif reiterated the government's commitment to continuing operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative. He stated that efforts against anti-state elements would persist until the last terrorist is eradicated, reflecting a steadfast resolve to secure peace and stability in the region.
