Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the martyrs of Marka-e-Haq. In their messages on Youm-e-Tashakur, they highlighted that the day is observed to express gratitude to Allah Almighty for Pakistan’s victory against India’s aggression.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized that Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and core national interests. He remarked on the significance of celebrating the victory of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, which was a response to unprovoked aggression from India.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, praised the armed forces of Pakistan for their effective and professional response to the enemy. He noted that their actions have written a significant chapter in military history. The Prime Minister also stated that the victory was not just that of the Armed Forces but of the nation’s principles as an honorable and dignified nation.
