Bannu: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of four individuals, including the Assistant Commissioner of North Waziristan, following a terrorist attack in Bannu.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders, in their separate statements, conveyed prayers for the eternal peace of the martyrs and strength for their grieving families. They reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the nation.

The President emphasized in his statement that terrorists, who are reportedly supported by foreign elements, are being neutralized through national consensus. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister assured that the government will counter all malicious intentions of terrorists, labeling them as enemies of humanity.
