Islamabad:President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their appreciation for the security forces' successful operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized that these operations demonstrate a strong commitment to combating terrorist elements. He asserted that the schemes of terrorists, who are supported by foreign entities and local facilitators, will be thwarted.

Prime Minister Sharif reiterated that the operations against Fitna al-Khawarij will persist until terrorism is completely eradicated and lasting peace is established in the country. He affirmed that terrorists aiming to disrupt the nation's peace and security will not be allowed to achieve their malicious goals.
