Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended greetings to the people and government of China on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, marking the "Year of the Horse."

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari reaffirmed the enduring Pak-China all-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership in his message and wished for peace, prosperity, and shared progress in the coming year.

Prime Minister Sharif stated that the new Chinese year would further strengthen the enduring bilateral friendship and deepen cooperation for the prosperity of both nations.

First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also extended her heartfelt wishes to the people of China. In a post on X handle, she expressed hope that the new year would bring prosperity, peace, and new opportunities for the Chinese people and strengthen the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.
