According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders emphasized Benazir Bhutto's enduring impact on Pakistan's political landscape. President Zardari highlighted her patriotism and commitment to democratic ideals, pledging to continue her vision of a democratic and inclusive Pakistan. He noted her firm stance against sectarianism and intolerance, advocating for the rights and dignity of minorities. Zardari praised her vision of a nation where all citizens, regardless of faith, enjoy equal rights.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif echoed these sentiments, reflecting on Bhutto's promotion of tolerance and harmony as fundamental to strengthening democracy. He praised her efforts in empowering women and protecting minority rights, acknowledging her role in steering Pakistan toward peace and progress.
