President and Prime Minister Deliberate on National Political and Security Concerns


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with President Asif Ali Zardari in Lahore on Sunday to discuss pressing political and security matters facing the country. The high-level meeting was attended by key political figures, including Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, and Senator Saleem Mandviwalla.



According to Radio Pakistan, discussions at the meeting centered around the current political and security situation in the country. The leaders exchanged views on these critical issues and explored ways to enhance cooperation among political allies. The dialogue also touched upon Prime Minister Sharif’s recent diplomatic visits to friendly nations, highlighting the importance of bolstering international relations.



President Zardari emphasized the necessity for the government to introduce measures in the upcoming budget that would provide relief and welfare for the common people. He underscored the importance of political allies working collaboratively in the national interest to ensure the country’s stability and growth.
