Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna-al-Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders expressed their appreciation in separate statements, reaffirming the country’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism. The President highlighted the significance of the intelligence-based operations conducted in North Waziristan and Darra Adam Khel, viewing them as a testament to the nation’s determination to combat terrorism.
The President emphasized that Fitna-al-Khawarij and its pro-India collaborators pose a threat to Pakistan’s peace and stability. He reiterated that the ongoing actions under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” would persist until terrorism is completely eradicated.
The Prime Minister also praised the security forces for neutralizing twenty terrorists linked to Fitna-al-Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that the entire nation stands in admiration of the security forces’ efforts.
