Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for successfully neutralizing seven terrorists associated with the Indian-sponsored group Fitna al-Khawarij in Balochistan’s Sherani district.
According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders, in their respective statements, emphasized the government’s commitment to thwarting any attempts that threaten Pakistan’s integrity. The President highlighted the unity between the people and the armed forces in the fight against terrorism. He also acknowledged the bravery of the youth who played a crucial role in countering anti-state activities, referring to them as national heroes.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the government’s and security forces’ determination to eliminate terrorism from the country entirely, reinforcing their resolve to maintain peace and security in Pakistan.
