Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for successfully neutralizing seven terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij, a group reportedly backed by India, during two separate operations in the North Waziristan district.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the group, emphasizing it as evidence of the security forces’ professional expertise. He expressed appreciation for the morale of the security forces and law enforcement agencies, praising their resolve to protect the nation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also acknowledged the achievements of the security forces in the ongoing fight against terrorism, which aligns with the Azm-e-Istehkam vision. He reiterated that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces of Pakistan in this struggle and reaffirmed the commitment to eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country.
