Preparations for Second Phase of Islamabad Talks Completed

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Iranian Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam in Islamabad today. During the meeting, both sides discussed arrangements for the second round of Islamabad Talks and emphasized the importance of a sustainable solution through diplomatic and negotiation channels to reduce tensions.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Interior Minister briefed the Ambassador about his recent visit to Iran. Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam appreciated Pakistan's constructive role in efforts to de-escalate tensions. Mohsin Naqvi announced that preparations for the second phase of the Islamabad Talks have been completed, with comprehensive security measures in place for foreign delegations.

Naqvi highlighted the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Iran, which are highly valued. He reiterated Pakistan's support for resolving the Iran-US dispute through dialogue, underscoring that a durable solution is essential for peace and stability in the region.
