Post-Hajj Operation to Conclude on 10th of Next Month: Sardar Yousuf


Madinah: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf announced that the post-Hajj operation will conclude on the 10th of next month. Speaking to Radio Pakistan Correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema in Madinah, he praised the Pakistan Hajj Mission for its exemplary arrangements to facilitate pilgrims.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister stated that preparations for next year’s Hajj have already commenced, guided by the Hajj policy and schedule provided by the Saudi government. He extended his congratulations to the Hujjaj for successfully completing their sacred journey and noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had instructed him to ensure the comfort of the Guests of Allah without compromise.



Sardar Muhammad Yousaf also expressed his deep gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their outstanding arrangements and generous hospitality. He acknowledged the significant role played by the media in highlighting the Hajj operation, projecting a positive image of Pakistan, and keeping the pilgrims informed throughout their journey.



Earlier, Director Hajj Madinah Zia-ur-Rehman briefed the Minister on the post-Hajj arrangements, noting that 39,717 pilgrims arrived in Madinah during the pre-Hajj phase, while 48,663 Hujjaj are expected during the post-Hajj phase. All pilgrims have been accommodated in Markaziyyah hotels, conveniently located near Masjid al-Nabawi (SAWW).



Zia-ur-Rehman also mentioned that thirteen catering companies have been engaged to provide quality meals to the pilgrims. During his visit, the Minister inspected the Main Control Office of the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Madinah to review the functioning of various sections.
