Post-Hajj Flight Operation Set to Commence Bringing Back Pilgrims


Makkah: Post-Hajj flight operation to bring back Pakistani pilgrims is starting from Tuesday. This was stated by Secretary Religious Affairs Dr. Syed Ata ur Rehman while talking to Radio Pakistan Correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema in Makkah on Monday.



According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Syed Ata ur Rehman shared details of the operation, stating that Pakistan International Airlines’ flight PK-732 carrying 307 Hujjaj will leave Jeddah for Islamabad. Similarly, the first post-Hajj flight from Madinah, PK-7030, will depart for Lahore on Thursday, also carrying 307 pilgrims.



Furthermore, the Secretary mentioned that the flight operation will continue until the 10th of the next month. A total of over 88,000 Hujjaj, under the government scheme, will be transported to Pakistan via 362 flights.



Meanwhile, Dr. Syed Ata ur Rehman highlighted that elaborate arrangements have been made for the smooth transportation of the pilgrims back to their homeland.
