PNS Tabuk Seizes Over 2,000 Kg of ICE in Arabian Sea Operation


Islamabad: Pakistan Navy Ship TABUK, while operating on Regional Maritime Security Patrol, intercepted a suspicious dhow in the Arabian Sea and seized over 2,000 kg of methamphetamine, commonly known as ICE. The estimated regional wholesale value of the seized narcotics is 130 million dollars.



According to Radio Pakistan, the seizing of narcotics by PNS TABUK marks the third consecutive successful interdiction conducted in the last two months by Pakistan Navy ships. These successful operations highlight Pakistan Navy’s commitment against illicit trafficking at sea.



The scale of the operation and its flawless execution underscore Pakistan Navy’s professionalism and the effectiveness of multinational coordination. Pakistan Navy remains steadfast in its resolve to safeguard national maritime interests and uphold principles of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea while contributing to global maritime security efforts.
