Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar expressed confidence that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will secure a clear majority in the by-elections. Speaking to the media in Islamabad today, he said a large turnout is being witnessed across the country where by-polls are underway, calling it an encouraging trend.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister said the people will cast their votes in favour of candidates based on performance and service delivery. He added that the performance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is recognized internationally.
Attaullah Tarar further noted that in most constituencies, PTI is boycotting the elections.
