Raiwind: PML-N President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has praised the professionalism and bravery of the armed forces, acknowledging their role in defending the nation against Indian aggression. He emphasized that the armed forces have stood as an unyielding barrier in protecting the motherland.

According to Radio Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif’s remarks came during a meeting with PML-N Parliamentary Leader in the Senate and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, who visited him in Raiwind. During their discussion, the PML-N President also highlighted the importance of parliament’s role in national security matters. He commended the unity displayed by political parties in setting aside their differences to speak with a single voice for the country’s security.

Nawaz Sharif further expressed his appreciation for the Pakistani media, acknowledging its efforts in presenting the truth to the world and countering the enemy’s false narratives. Senator Siddiqui provided a briefing on the parliamentary party’s performance during the session, highlighting the collaborative efforts made in the face of national challenges.
