Murree: President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and addressing their grievances as soon as possible. He was addressing a meeting of the PML-N Parliamentary Party of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Murree today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif stated that the current situation in Azad Kashmir is the result of the poor performance of previous governments, as they had failed to meet the expectations and aspirations of the people. He emphasized that the government's top priority is to promote development in Azad Kashmir along the same lines as in Punjab.

He urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to provide funds for the development of Azad Kashmir. Nawaz Sharif further highlighted that the current government is making efforts to make Pakistan economically self-reliant.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz were also present on the occasion.
