PMD Predicts Rain, Wind, and Thunderstorms in Upper Regions

Islamabad: Partly cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thunderstorms is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, and the Pothohar region during the next twelve hours. Hailstorms are also likely at isolated places during this period.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature in major cities recorded this morning reflects a diverse climate across the region. Islamabad experienced a temperature of sixteen degrees centigrade, while Lahore recorded twenty-three degrees. Karachi's temperature stood at twenty-four degrees, Peshawar at seventeen, Quetta and Muzaffarabad both at ten, Gilgit at eight, and Murree at a chilly five degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind accompanied by thunderstorms in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. Leh is expected to experience cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow, while Jammu is likely to have cloudy conditions with chances of light rain.

This morning, temperatures in these areas were recorded as follows: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag at six degrees centigrade, Jammu at nineteen, Leh at minus-two, and Shopian and Baramulla at seven degrees centigrade.
