Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, cold conditions, with very cold conditions during morning and night, are anticipated in the hilly areas. Additionally, smog, along with shallow fog patches during morning and night, may develop over a few plain areas of Punjab.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning included Islamabad at seven degrees centigrade, Lahore at twelve, Karachi at seventeen, Peshawar at eight, Quetta at minus-one, Gilgit at minus-two, while Murree and Muzafarabad were at five degrees centigrade.
In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts cold and dry conditions in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with dry weather in Jammu and very cold and dry conditions in Leh. This morning, temperatures were recorded at minus-one degree centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula, eleven in Jammu, minus-six in Leh, and zero degree centigrade in Anantnag.
