Islamabad: Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, with very cold conditions in hilly areas over the next twelve hours. Moderate to dense fog is anticipated in Punjab, upper Sindh, and the plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at eight degrees centigrade, Lahore at ten, Karachi at thirteen, Peshawar at nine, Quetta and Gilgit both at minus two, Murree at one, and Muzaffarabad at four degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir also predicts very cold and dry weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with cold and dry conditions in Jammu. Recorded temperatures this morning were: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at minus one degree centigrade, Jammu at eight, Leh at minus six, and Pulwama and Baramula at minus two degrees centigrade.
