PMD Predicts Cold, Dry Weather Across the Nation

Islamabad: Cold and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours, with very cold conditions anticipated in hilly areas. Cloudy weather accompanied by light rain and light snow is forecasted at isolated locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, moderate to dense fog is likely to develop over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the night and morning. The temperature recorded this morning in major cities was as follows: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at six degrees centigrade, Lahore at nine, Karachi at fifteen, Peshawar at eight, Quetta at minus one, Murree at one, and Gilgit at three degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts very cold and cloudy weather conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while cold and foggy weather is expected in Jammu. The recorded temperatures this morning were Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula at minus one degree centigrade, Anantnag and Shopian at zero, Leh at minus ten, and Jammu at seven degrees centigrade.
