Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the further reduction in the inflation rate. In a statement today, he highlighted that the rate of inflation witnessed a 0.7 percent decrease during the last month, compared to 20.7 percent in the same month last year.
According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif noted that the inflation rate was recorded at its lowest level this year, even during the month of Ramadan. He emphasized that this reduction is positively impacting the lives of the common man and the country’s economy.
The Prime Minister stated that the substantial decrease in the inflation rate is evidence of the government’s policies being on the right track and its tireless efforts towards public welfare. He assured that the country has embarked on a path of development, as the government continues to work tirelessly for the well-being of its citizens.
