PM Urges New Lawmakers to Focus on Public Welfare and Development


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed hope that the newly-elected lawmakers will actively participate in legislation concerning Pakistan’s development, prosperity, and public welfare. He made these remarks while talking to newly elected Members of the National Assembly who called on him in Islamabad today.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister congratulated the legislators and extended his best wishes to them. He remarked that the victory in the recently held by-elections was made possible by the vision of Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, his exemplary leadership, and the tireless efforts of party workers. He added that the success in the by-polls reflects the public’s trust in Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s commitment to the province’s prosperity and development.



Shehbaz Sharif further expressed confidence that the newly elected MNAs will work wholeheartedly for the welfare and well-being of the people of their constituencies. The newly elected members of the Lower House who met the Prime Minister include Babar Nawaz, Bilal Farooq Tarar, Bilal Badar, Rana Daniyal, Hafiz Noman, Chaudhry Tufail Jutt, and Mehmood Qadir.
