Karachi: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stressed the need for increased public awareness about the critical need of regular blood donations for patients. In his message on World Blood Donor Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasized the importance of commemorating this day to honor voluntary heroes who selflessly donate blood, providing a second chance at life to millions of people.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted that the Government of Pakistan is fully aware of the situation and is actively addressing it through the National Blood Transfusion Program. This initiative includes blood donation awareness campaigns aimed at tackling the challenge of ensuring a steady supply of blood for those in need.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged every healthy and compassionate citizen, particularly the youth, to realize their civic duty and contribute to the humanitarian cause by donating blood.
