Baku: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will address the Climate Action Summit COP29 in Baku today. In his speech, the Prime Minister will shed light on the threats posed to Pakistan by climate change and highlight the country's efforts to tackle environmental risks. He will also speak about the responsibilities of developed countries and the establishment of a new fund in this regard. According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister will also hold a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Their discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of energy and regional connectivity. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has also left for Baku, Azerbaijan, to participate in COP29. He will participate in high-level meetings, events, and discussions during the COP29 conference. The Finance Minister will participate in the events organized at Pakistan Pavilion.
