PM Terms Jinnah Medical Complex a Landmark Healthcare Project


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says the Jinnah Medical Complex in Islamabad will soon be completed, describing it as a landmark project for Pakistan and the wider region in the field of healthcare.



According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting of the Jinnah Medical Complex Board held in Islamabad on Monday, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Aga Khan Foundation for providing technical cooperation during various stages of the project’s construction. He emphasized the significance of joint efforts in ensuring the project’s completion.



Shehbaz Sharif directed the concerned authorities to expedite work on all proposed treatment centers of the Jinnah Medical Complex. The Prime Minister’s initiative aims to enhance the healthcare infrastructure significantly within the country.



During the meeting, members of the Jinnah Medical Complex Board thanked the Prime Minister for his continuous support and guidance throughout all phases of the project’s construction. The board highlighted the rapid progress being made not only in medical services but also in facilities for international-standard medical training, education, and research.



It was also revealed that modern technology, including artificial intelligence and robotics, will be utilized to elevate the Jinnah Medical Complex to meet international standards. The integration of these advanced technologies underscores the project’s commitment to providing top-tier healthcare solutions.
