PM Shehbaz Sharif Embarks on Official Visit to Austria for Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Vienna: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Vienna on a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Federal Chancellor of Austria, Christian Stocker. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation, which includes members of the federal cabinet and senior officials.

According to Radio Pakistan, during his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to engage in bilateral and delegation-level discussions with the Austrian Chancellor. These talks will cover the comprehensive spectrum of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Austria.

A key highlight of the visit will be Shehbaz Sharif and Christian Stocker co-chairing a meeting with leading businessmen from both countries. This meeting aims to enhance investment opportunities and cooperation between Pakistan and Austria. Additionally, the Prime Minister will preside over a session of the Pak-Austria Business Forum.

In a significant address, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to speak at a United Nations event themed 'Sustainable Development, the Path to Global Peace and Prosperity'. His agenda also includes a meeting with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, further indicating the importance of international cooperation during this visit.

Marking 70 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Pakistan and Austria continue to enjoy cordial and friendly ties, supported by shared values of dialogue, cooperation, and respect for international law. This visit is expected to introduce new dimensions to the bilateral relations between the two nations.
