PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Jeddah for Strategic Talks with Saudi Crown Prince

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is visiting at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

According to Radio Pakistan, upon his arrival, the Prime Minister and his delegation were received by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Pakistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq, and senior diplomatic officials.

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to meet with the Saudi Crown Prince. The discussions will focus on enhancing the longstanding relations and partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as exchanging views on the regional situation.

In addition to political engagements, the Prime Minister will perform Umrah and visit Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) in Madinah Munawwarah. Accompanying the Prime Minister are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
