PM Shehbaz Initiates Laptop Distribution in Azad Jammu and Kashmir


Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared that Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir will eventually achieve freedom from India and become part of Pakistan. He made this statement during a laptop distribution ceremony at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister addressed the Indian actions in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), emphasizing the significant sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people for their cause. He reiterated his unwavering commitment to both transforming Pakistan into a great nation through unity and collective efforts, and securing the right of self-determination for the Kashmiri people.



The Prime Minister also noted that Pakistan’s armed forces delivered a memorable message to India in May this year. In his speech, Shehbaz Sharif mentioned that through the Pakistan Endowment Fund, students from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, and other regions will receive scholarships for education both domestically and internationally. He expressed his dedication to empowering the youth.



Highlighting the merit-based distribution of laptops, he remarked that these devices are more than just machines; they represent a vision that allowed students to pursue their education and earn livelihoods during the Covid pandemic. Furthermore, he announced the establishment of four state-of-the-art Daanish schools and a Daanish University in Azad Kashmir.
