Sharm al-sheikh: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unflinching solidarity with the people of Palestine and its continued diplomatic and moral support to them. He reiterated this commitment during his meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the Sharm al-Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions with international leaders centered on measures to promote peace in the region. Satisfaction was expressed over the ceasefire in Gaza, highlighting a shared commitment to stability.
The Prime Minister’s meetings included discussions with key figures such as UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
The interactions underscored Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and its role in fostering dialogue aimed at achieving lasting peace and security in the Middle East.
