Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to follow the timelines for Jinnah Medical Complex, Islamabad to ensure its timely completion. Soon after returning from Egypt, he resumed his official activities and chaired a meeting to review work on Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Center in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister issued directives for ensuring transparency in all stages of construction of the project. He stated that this will be a state-of-the-art hospital where the public will have access to international standard medical facilities.
The meeting was briefed on the progress of construction work of the Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Center. It was revealed that the geo-tech study of the project has been completed, while hydrology and seismic studies are scheduled for completion in the next month.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister briefed the meeting participants about his visit to Egypt for attending the Gaza Peace Summit. The participants paid tribute to the Prime Minister for his diplomatic achievements, which elevated Pakistan’s stature at the Gaza Peace Summit.
