Beijing: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Beijing via bullet train following his attendance at the 25th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in Tianjin. He was welcomed at Beijing’s South Railway Station by Wang Hong, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister’s visit to Beijing includes participation in the 80th anniversary celebrations of the World Anti-Fascist War. During his stay, he is expected to hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, and various other world leaders.
In addition to these engagements, Prime Minister Sharif will also take part in and address the China-Pakistan Business to Business Conference, highlighting important economic collaborations between the two nations.
