Davos: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Davos, Switzerland, to participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister's agenda includes significant engagements, such as taking part in the Forum's Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders session titled 'Restoring a Spirit of Dialogue in a Divided World'. Additionally, he will preside over a Pakistan-specific "High-level Business Roundtable" with various corporate leaders.
While in Davos, the Prime Minister plans to meet several world leaders and business executives. He will focus on presenting Pakistan's views on global and regional peace and development, as well as highlighting the government's plans and achievements in economy, trade, and investment opportunities.
The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting is a platform that brings together political leaders, business executives, heads of international organizations, and civil society representatives. It addresses current geopolitical, economic, social, and environmental challenges.
