PM Lays Foundation Stone of Daanish School in Bagh, AJK

Bagh: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of Daanish School in the Hari Gehl area of district Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir today. Addressing the ceremony, he stated that the school will be completed by March 23 next year to provide international standard and free education to deserving students.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted that a similar school has already been established in the Bhimber district, where 35 percent of the construction work has been completed. Additionally, another Daanish School is planned for the Neelum Valley, with development set to commence soon.

These Daanish schools are designed to include modern facilities such as IT labs, digital libraries, smart classrooms, dormitories, and playgrounds. The Prime Minister emphasized that these educational institutions are paving the way for progress and development by offering opportunities to hardworking students from underprivileged backgrounds.

He lauded the achievements of the bright students from these schools, noting their success and recognition in various fields worldwide. Furthermore, he mentioned that Pakistan has gained a dignified global stature following its victory against India earlier this year.

The Prime Minister referred to a report submitted to the US Congress by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, which acknowledges Pakistan’s success, and noted that US President Donald Trump has mentioned the downing of Indian jets by Pakistan on several occasions.

He expressed hope that a day will come when Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir will be free, allowing for the establishment of Daanish Schools in the region. Additionally, he urged the newly elected AJK Prime Minister to set high governance standards in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to foster development and prosperity, assuring him of the federal government’s full support.
