Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched the establishment of ten million Digital Wallets and the provision of ten million SIMs to the beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister, while addressing the launching ceremony, stated that this initiative is a step towards a cashless economy aimed at ensuring transparency and providing financial assistance to the BISP beneficiaries in an efficient manner. He emphasized that a cashless economy saves time, enhances efficiency, eliminates corruption, and accelerates the country’s progress and development.
During his address, the Prime Minister congratulated BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid and others involved in bringing this initiative to fruition.
