Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formally launched the Digital System for Licensing and Registration of Medical Devices, under which the registration process will be completed online within 20 days. Addressing the launching ceremony in Islamabad, he emphasized that decisions will now be made swiftly and transparently, reducing the time from years to the shortest possible duration.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed his confidence in Pakistan’s talent to bring about significant advancements in the medical field. The new system is expected to streamline the process, ensuring that medical device licensing and registration are handled efficiently.
Earlier at the event, Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal highlighted that the digital system provides an online application facility without any human intervention. He assured that licenses would be delivered online within twenty days, marking a significant improvement in the process.
