PM Hails 31% Surge in Remittances in First 10 Months of Current Fiscal Year


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over a thirty-one percent increase in remittances during the first ten months of the current fiscal year compared to the previous year. In a statement today, he said that from July 2024 to April 2025, remittances reached a record high of 31.2 billion dollars.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister stated that this significant increase reflects the patriotism of overseas Pakistanis and their confidence in the country’s economic policies. He emphasized the crucial contribution of Overseas Pakistanis to the development of the national economy.



Shehbaz Sharif also reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to the country’s economic growth, underscoring the importance of sustaining this positive trend in remittances to support the nation’s economic objectives.
