Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended felicitations to Tarique Rahman on his swearing in as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. He extended these felicitations on a social media platform X today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed his anticipation for close and meaningful engagements with his brother. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation across mutually beneficial areas and deepening the historic ties between the two countries.
