Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on being elected as President of PML-Q. In his statement, the Prime Minister also congratulated Chaudhry Salik Hussain on being elected as the Senior Vice President of the Party, Tariq Hassan as the General Secretary, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain as President of the party in Punjab, Dr. Muhammad Amjad as Chief Organizer, and Ghulam Mustafa Malik as the Central Secretary Information of the party.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed his best wishes to the newly elected leadership of PML-Q. He highlighted that PML-Q is an important ally of the government, which during the last tenure, supported other allied parties and sacrificed its political interests for the economic stability and development of the country.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that PML-Q as a party will continue to represent the aspirations of the people in the legislative assemblies and play its key role in the country’s development and progress.
