Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of life and devastation caused by the severe floods and landslides in Sri Lanka. In a post on his X handle, he said Pakistan stands in solidarity with the people and government of Sri Lanka in this hour of grief.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister stated Pakistan’s readiness to extend any support in rescue, recovery, and relief efforts as a symbol of solidarity with their Sri Lankan brothers and sisters.
