Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to ensure transparency in all phases of the Jinnah Medical Complex (JMC) and Research Center to be constructed in Islamabad. He issued these directives while presiding over a meeting to review the progress on Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Center in Islamabad on Thursday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister said Jinnah Medical Complex would be a state-of-the-art hospital equipped with the best medical facilities and advanced medical research equipment to serve the entire region. During the briefing on the project, the meeting was informed that road shows in connection with the project were organized in China, Turkiye, South Korea, and Singapore, where globally renowned companies have expressed interest in the project.

It was further briefed that two major conferences were also held in connection with Jinnah Medical Complex, which were participated by thirty-three companies from ten countries. The meeting was informed that the process for acquiring 600 canals of land for the construction of this mega project is also underway at a fast pace, while advertising has also been given at a global level for hiring experts and consultants.
