Islamabad: A delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan’s Ministers led by Chief Minister Gulbar Khan met with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam in Islamabad on Wednesday. During the meeting, issues concerning the affected people of the Diamer-Basha Dam were discussed, with Amir Muqam reiterating his commitment to support the rights of those affected by the dam.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is deeply interested in the development and prosperity of Gilgit-Baltistan. Amir Muqam further stated that he has consistently supported the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and considers their development as the government’s top priority.
In his remarks, Chief Minister Gulbar Khan expressed gratitude to the Federal Minister for his unwavering efforts to address the challenges faced by the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
