Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a cash reward of ten million rupees each for the players of Pakistan’s victorious Under-19 Asia Cup cricket team. He also hosted a luncheon in honour of the young players in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister announced an additional cash prize of 2.5 million rupees for each member of the team’s management. He expressed that the team, through its performance, has won the hearts of the entire nation.

The Prime Minister commended the team management, Captain Farhan Yousaf, as well as Sameer Minhas, Ali Raza, and all members of the contingent for bringing laurels to the country.
