Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has expressed Pakistan's firm resolve to further strengthen bilateral relations with Indonesia. He was speaking with Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Chandra W. Sukotjo in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted Pakistan's mineral and exploration sector, noting its immense potential. He encouraged Indonesian companies to consider partnerships with Pakistani exploration and mineral companies to leverage this potential.
In response, the Indonesian Ambassador expressed his country's desire to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in the mineral sector. He emphasized the existence of ample opportunities for joint ventures in oil and gas exploration in Pakistan, specifically mentioning the Indonesian state-owned company Pertamina as a potential partner.
