Passing Out Parade of 21st NLI Batch Held at Bunji, GB


Bunji: The passing-out parade of the twenty-first batch of the Northern Light Infantry was held at Bunji in District Astore, Gilgit-Baltistan. The event marked the successful completion of military training by 901 cadets of the Northern Light Infantry.



According to Radio Pakistan, the ceremony was graced by the presence of the Force Commander of Northern Areas as the Chief Guest. During his address, the Force Commander highlighted the historical significance and bravery of the Northern Light Infantry, noting their courage and valor from the snow-covered peaks of Siachen to the battlefront of Kargil.



He commended the Gilgit Scouts, Northern Scouts, and Karakoram Scouts for their contributions, emphasizing the sacrifices made by the NLI in the war against terrorism. The Chief Guest extended heartfelt congratulations to the passing-out cadets and their parents and distributed awards to those who demonstrated outstanding performance during their training.
