Islamabad: Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has stated that the involvement of nearly forty countries in the International Qirat competition is a significant honor for Pakistan. Speaking at a reception hosted by Senator Talha Mahmood to honor the participants of the International Qirat Competition, Yousaf emphasized the momentous nature of this event.

According to Radio Pakistan, this is the first instance in Pakistan’s history that such a competition has been conducted within the country. The minister expressed his commitment to ensuring that the competition will be held regularly in the future, marking a new chapter in the nation’s engagement with international cultural and religious events.
