Lahore: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, emphasized that Pakistan’s nuclear program is a collective achievement of the entire nation, rather than the work of any single party or government. He noted that the people of Pakistan sacrificed their own needs and provided resources for this program, which has secured the nation and rendered its defense invincible.
According to Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Gandapur highlighted the significant contribution of minorities in Pakistan’s development, education, and defense sectors. He traced the foundation of the nuclear program back to the 1950s during Prime Minister Muhammad Ali Bogra’s tenure and stressed that everyone involved deserves national tribute and appreciation.
Gandapur underscored the importance of modern education and technology for future progress, stating that nations gain respect through knowledge and education rather than infrastructure. He shared these insights during a ceremony at the Chamber of Commerce title
d ‘Pakistan Belongs to All of Us.’
He also advocated for the promotion of online education to achieve educational equality across the nation, emphasizing that Pakistan’s strength lies in unity and solidarity. Gandapur called for the defeat of ideologies promoting hatred and violence, noting that enemies aim to disrupt national unity through division and discord.
The MQI Secretary General commended Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for establishing educational institutions that serve students from all backgrounds, including minorities, to foster love and unity. He congratulated the Pakistan Armed Forces for their successful defense efforts, asserting that no army can be defeated when supported by a united nation.
Expressing gratitude to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce for their hospitality, Gandapur emphasized the need for collaboration among national institutions, social organizations, and the business community to navigate the country through crises.
