Pakistan’s Future Tied to Balochistan’s Progress: Field Marshal

Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal, Syed Asim Munir, has stated that the future of Balochistan and Pakistan are intertwined permanently.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting with notable figures and political leaders from Balochistan in Rawalpindi, the Chief of Defence Forces emphasized that Balochistan is home to talented, resilient, and patriotic people. He highlighted that a clear national narrative, along with enduring peace and stability, is essential for unlocking the province's economic potential, attracting investment, and converting its human and natural resources into prosperity for its inhabitants.

The Field Marshal pointed out that the youth of Balochistan represent a vibrant segment of society, and there is no lack of talent or opportunities among them. He stressed the importance of empowering the youth and providing opportunities for them to contribute to national progress, which remains crucial for sustainable development.

He also addressed the issue of foreign-sponsored proxies, identified as Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, which are used by hostile elements to destabilize Balochistan, impede its development, and create division between the state and its people. The Field Marshal assured that these inimical designs will be defeated through national resolve and a decisive response from the state.

Field Marshal Asim Munir expressed appreciation for the role of Balochistan's notables and society leaders in promoting peace and strengthening social cohesion. He emphasized the need to counter hostile propaganda, expose false narratives, and highlight the true potential and aspirations of Balochistan and its people.

The meeting concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to the peace, development, and prosperity of Balochistan and Pakistan. They pledged to support the state and armed forces against foreign-sponsored threats to stability and expressed their resolve to contribute to people-centric development that leads to a peaceful and prosperous Balochistan.
