Pakistan’s Economic Outlook Remains Stable: Khurram

Islamabad: Adviser to the Finance Minister, Khurram Schehzad, has said Pakistan's private sector is expanding and borrowing more from the banking sector. Speaking in Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel's programme "Perspective," he explained that private businesses are securing credit to expand their operations and commercial activity.

According to Radio Pakistan, several rating agencies have upgraded Pakistan's economic outlook from stable to positive, indicating restored investor confidence. Schehzad noted that the economy is moving in the right direction and that overall economic activity will bear fruit in the near future.

Khurram Schehzad highlighted that the textile and food sectors are obtaining significant funding to expand operations, aimed at boosting exports and serving the domestic market.
